Does this really leave no white cast on very dark skin?

Why doesn’t it cast when other sunscreens do?
Most sunscreens use zinc oxide and titanium dioxide - white mineral particles that physically sit on top of your skin and reflect UV. Those particles also reflect visible light, which is why they leave a white, grey, or purple cast on darker skin. We use chemical filters instead, which absorb UV inside the skin. No particles on the surface = no cast.
Is chemical sunscreen safe?
The FDA has approved all four of our UV filters (Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, Octocrylene) for use in sunscreen. They’ve been used safely in sun protection products worldwide for decades. We chose chemical over mineral specifically because mineral filters don’t work cosmetically on dark skin — and a sunscreen you won’t wear is a
sunscreen that doesn’t protect you.
Will it pill under my makeup?

Does it feel greasy?

Two ways. First, SPF 50 prevents UV from reactivating the melanin that causes hyperpigmentation — so your existing spots won’t get darker. Second, niacinamide actively inhibits melanin transfer to the skin surface, which gradually fades existing dark spots over time. It won’t replace a dedicated treatment, but it’s doing real work alongside your routine.
What’s the texture like?
